The State Educational Institution “Irkliiv Vocational Agrarian Lyceum” is a state vocational education institution of the second accreditation level, operating based on its Charter and providing training for highly qualified workers.

Ownership and Management:

The institution is state-owned and subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It is located at 50 Trebinskykh Family Street, Irkliiv, Zolotonosha District, Cherkasy Region, Ukraine, 19950. Contact phone: +38 096 206 55 69.

History:

The institution began its activities in 1966 by order of the State Committee of the Ukrainian SSR for Vocational Education (Order No. 185, dated 01.10.1966) as Irkliiv Rural Vocational School No. 19, preparing highly qualified workers for the agro-industrial sector.

In 1985, by order of the State Committee for Vocational Education of the Ukrainian SSR (Order No. 137, dated 15.08.1985), it was reorganized into Irkliiv Secondary Vocational-Technical School No. 41.

On August 21, 2003, it was restructured into Irkliiv Vocational Agrarian Lyceum (Order No. 233 of the Main Department of Education and Science of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration).

By order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Order No. 610, dated 21.06.2010), it was renamed the State Educational Institution “Irkliiv Vocational Agrarian Lyceum.”

Achievements and Training Programs:

Over its 59 years of existence, the institution has trained more than 12,500 qualified workers. The lyceum provides the following types of vocational training:

         Primary vocational training,

         Vocational and technical education,

         Retraining and advanced training according to state standards approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Prospective Directions for International Projects:

         Experience exchange;

         Modernization of teaching methods and technologies;

         Upgrading the institution and increasing the prestige of vocational education;

         Expanding opportunities to improve the material and technical base, exchanging experiences with international partners on the educational process and advanced technologies.
